"I gather things that interest me and materials from my rural environment. I devise arrangements of these elements and record them.
These assemblages sometime incorporate the work of other artists, by their permission. Some include the poetry of Kevin McCue, and some have their genesis in the ideas of Edward J. Avila.
I transfer the images to a computer and archive them there. Photographic prints of these assembled objects are printed archivally.
My purpose is to look closely and to see things in new ways, recording the eccentric and lush beauty that always lies in wait for us."
